The surgeons at Jordan-Young Institute serve as investigators for numerous clinical trials. Studies include several post marketing trials intended to monitor short and long term safety and efficacy of joint replacements. They are also involved in studies for the treatment of arthritis and damaged cartilage. We perform studies in sports medicine in the knee and shoulder. Additionally, a data base of joint replacement and arthroscopic sports medicine procedures is maintained so that outcomes may be monitored. Data may be utilized for education and publication in peer review journals.

In addition to active participation in clinical trials, the surgeons at Jordan-Young Institute conduct learning centers for large head hip replacement implants and several knee implant systems. They provide instruction for national organizations, including the American Academy of Orthopedic Surgeons and the Arthroscopy Association of North America. They also serve as a training site for a novel reverse shoulder replacement system. Emphasis is on education and training of both experienced doctors and those in training. This allows opportunity to stay current with the most updated options for new technology and surgical techniques.
The surgeons at Jordan-Young Institute travel nationally to provide lectures and hands-on training for management of difficult knee, hip and shoulder disorders. They are internationally recognized for management of such issues.
