Dr. Braig is a fellowship-trained orthopedic sports medicine surgeon with expertise in advanced arthroscopic procedures of the hip, knee, and shoulder. He has a particular focus on hip preservation surgery and is dedicated to providing compassionate, individualized care to help patients—from elite athletes to weekend warriors—return to the activities they love. A native of Virginia, Dr. Braig’s training includes the College of William & Mary, Eastern Virginia Medical School, the Mayo Clinic, and the University of Virginia. His extensive experience includes caring for professional and collegiate athletes, publishing award-winning research, and advancing minimally invasive surgical techniques on a national and international stage.
