Pioneering Research in Low Back Pain Treatment

Congratulations Dr. Levi, Dr. Horn, and Sara Tyszko, PA! Their groundbreaking research was recently published in the prestigious journal Interventional Pain Medicine.

The team conducted the first-ever randomized controlled trial exploring a cutting-edge treatment for chronic low back pain. This innovative approach used the patient’s own bone marrow (rich in stem cells), concentrated and injected into injured or degenerated discs.

While the treatment showed promise, results were not conclusively superior to the comparative group—an important step forward in understanding future regenerative therapies.
