Responsibilities at Jordan-Young Institute
Erica directly assists Dr. Kevin F. Bonner with patient care and education. As an athletic trainer, she specializes in assessment, treatment, and rehabilitation of musculoskeletal injuries as well as injury prevention. She is a liaison between athletic trainers, physicians, physical therapist, patients, and Dr. Bonner. Erica serves as an easily accessible point of contact for urgent and non-emergent situations and inquiries for better, effective, and efficient patient care. She assists in educating patients on their injuries, surgeries, recovery time, therapeutic exercise, and returning to full function.
Family & Interests
Erica enjoys relaxing at the beach with family/friends, reading a book, and going on walks. She also enjoys going to local farmer’s markets on the weekends, concerts, and spending time outdoors. Being from Wisconsin, she is a die-hard Green Bay Packers fan. GO PACK GO! Being a cheesehead fan, she also roots for the Milwaukee Brewers, Milwaukee Bucks, & Wisconsin Badgers. Erica lives in Virginia Beach with her boyfriend and cat named Gooby!
